I was hired by interior designer Beth Demorest to photograph some of the homes she has renovated for her portfolio. She does great work, and you can see some of the "Befores and Afters" at her website. It was a lot of fun, and I think I've gotten some great results! Ben is a former graduate of Taylor University, and Eastbrook High School. Ben and I first meet when we both went to the Dominican Republic through Taylor. I went when I was in about 7th grade, as my parents were the leaders of the trip. He played a big role in keeping me interested photography. I am always impressed how well he can truly bring out a persons true personality through his portraits. Please take a minute and check out his work!

I decided to take a film camera with me to prom. I went into it not really knowing what I would get out of the camera (my parents old Minolta X-700). The film I was using was at least a couple years expired, and there had been something growing in the lens at one point in time. I'm super excited about how it all turned out!
This all came about, when I received my girlfriend's less than enthusiastic response to my mentioning bringing my camera to prom. We compromised by deciding I would bring a film camera with just one roll of film. I also decided to leave it in the car during the dance, I would only use it before and after. Not only am I super excited about how the pictures turned out, this is the most excited and pleased I have ever seen Rachel when viewing my photos! That alone was worth all the planning and money that went into prom. THANKS RACHEL!

I photographed my little sister, Lily, for a calendar photo contest put on by FCC Indiana. This contest is for children that have been adopted from china. She has made it into the calendar several time, and we are hoping for her to get in again this year. Here are some of my favorites from the photoshoot! (Click the link below the picture to view more)
