I made this image on one of my first outings with a new camera. Long story short, I met this man sitting in the middle of his driveway, simply enjoying the sunset. He had a lot of things that he deserved to be bitter about, but he didn't focus on those. He enjoyed the sunset, and for at least those 20 min, life was paradise. I wish we all could live like that.

Love the sentiment here. I love how this captures a nearly extinct era, and mindset. In our electronic age, with news, images, video, and Billions of tweets, and status updates filling our lives with meaningless noise, it's great to see the time honored tradition of 'relaxing' honored.

I'm really glad that you like it. It really is sad how no one how much better your whole life really is, if you can just take a little time, remove yourself from everything, and center your life where it should be.
