Lately I've been working a lot with the idea of the Greek Kouros Sculptures. The Kouros were nude male sculptures that were portraying the idealized person in the Greek's mind, who was youthful, bold, and unashamed. My recent work, both sculpture and photography, have been revolving around the idea of what the American Kouros look like today.

I made these photographs a few months ago. This is a very different direction for me. I'm not sure where I will go with it from here, but I think these came out very well.

Here is some of my recent pottery. These pieces will be for sale at the Taylor University Art auction this weekend. I'm considering getting set up to start selling more pottery, possibly online. If you would be interested in purchasing my pottery, please comment on this post or send me an email so I can get an idea of the level of interest! Thanks!
